So, if you want to be really cool - don that wetsuit and go scuba diving. Getting down and close to stingray, barracudas, migrating whales and the mysteries of the deep is de rigueur if you want to impress.

Dedicated divers will travel the globe to dive the best coral reefs, explore the most exciting shipwrecks and tango with the finned creatures that lie beneath the ocean. To become a scuba diver you need a whole new vocabulary - 'liveaboards', for example, refers to boats guests stay on the specifically for diving holidays; 'pelagics' is a favourite term for marine life, while 'house reef' refers to a coral reef close to a dive resort. Most importantly of all, before you even think about pulling on a facemask and pair of flippers, you need to arrange proper training and professional supervision. Easy as it looks, to scuba dive safely you must learn from qualified instructors.

Now is the time to dive into the PADI Dive courses, the most popular dive program in the world! This is your ticket to a lifetime of intense adventure with PADI, the dive company that sets the standards in the global diving community.
