Get up close and personal with nature, experience an exotic and mystifying rainforest where the fastest butterflies swarm by the riverbank while you enjoy swimming in the river or jump from trees or just glide down the river on a raft.

The clear water of Kampar River (Class I-II) is suitable for anyone who is physically fit and those who crave for mild technical adventure whilst safely enjoy a rafting trip.

Test out your river skills and go on an adrenaline rush as you ride through 14 rapids and cooling waters of Kampar River in Perak, just 2 hours from Pangkor Island, Lumut and the capital city of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur. A state in west Malaysia famous for its’ tin ore, and pomelo fruit, Ipoh hor fun, home-grown white coffee, chicken rice, temples, caves and hot springs!

On the river, you'll have the thrills of tackling exciting rapids and floating down the clear water river amidst a lush rainforest. You will ride the continuous rapids graded from class I-III, and continue down river, passing by some old tin mining plains. Have fun during the rafting like do some body-rafting or even take a spin in the raft with your head in the water....or just get to the traditional fun of water fight with your fellow rafters! Get wet and get in touch with nature once more!

As a standard procedure, safety briefing will be done before going down the river which covers the paddling commands, paddling skills, capsize drills, actions when overboard or river rescue. After 10-15 minutes of briefing by our professional river guide, you are now ready for a river rafting adventure.

Participants will enjoy white water rapids and invigorating river environment. The trip includes Rafting equipments, Experienced guides, Group First Aid kit, On River Snacks and end of run Lunch.

Safety:
Safety briefing will be conducted on land before the participants enter the water and then further instruction is conducted in the water before we set of for the adventure trip. All our guides carry throw bags and wear PFDs for swift water rescue should the need arise.

What to Wear & Bring

1. A POSITIVE, FRIENDLY ATTITUDE & GOOD SENSE OF HUMOR!!
2. Two sets of clothing - One 'Wet' set for the river rafting - long or short
sleeved T-shirt; tights; long pant; short pant and anything
comfortable. Another 'Dry' set for return. Jeans are not welcome!
3. River sandals or sport shoes with lace.
4. A pair of sock is recommended if using sport shoes
5. Personal medication and craving
6. Straps for spectacles or goggles for contact lenses
7. Towel or Sarong
8. Sun Screen Lotion and Basic Toiletries

ITINENARY for Water Rafting in Sungai Kampar


10:30am	Pick up from Gopeng Town. Depart for Ulu Geruntum (Starting Point)

11:00am	Arrive starting point. Put on white water rafting equipment, safety briefing will be given by river guide.

11:15am	Rafting commences. Covering the distance of 12 km with 9 big rapids along the way. Rafting journey takes around 1 ½ - 2 hours.

1:00pm	Upon arrival at the ending point, Kg. Jahang. Light meal is served with cold drinks.

2:00pm	Back to Gopeng Town. End of tour!

2:00pm	Tempurung Caving Start

4:30pm	Back to Gopeng Town. End of tour!

How to get there?

By Car
Just follow the PLUS Highway until the Gopeng Toll Exit. Approx. 1 hour 30 min to 2 hours drive from KL.

By Private Coach
Just inform us which hotel or where you want to pick up. We will arrange the coach to pick you up and return. Rate differ from the pick-up point and number or people per coach. Please call us 03-22848928 to arrange a coach service for you. We also provides pick up from KLIA and LCCT airport, hotel, Thailand and Singapore.
