White Water Rafting activities at Sungai Kiulu in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. Commercial rafting lenght 2 to 3 hours depending on the water levels and the group size with rapid range from Grade 1 to Grade 2.

Located somewhere on the northwestern part of Sabah, Kiulu River graded as Class I – II river is safe enough for children and gentle enough for the elderly.

Trip begins with a safety briefing session conducted by our professional raft guide that will demonstrates rafting techniques and proper handling of rafting equipment before rafting commences.

Excursion covers up to 15km, making it the longest white water rafting trip in Borneo. The journey will take about 1 ½ - 2 hours of rafting before reaching the ending point where delicious barbecue lunch prepared just by the riverbank.

While having your lunch, enthrall yourself with the pristine breathtaking surroundings or get a quick sun tan before heading back to your respective hotels.

Group Size:Minimum: 10 Participants
Maximum: 50 Participants

Safety:
Safety briefing will be conducted on land before the participants enter the water and then further instruction is conducted in the water before we set of for the adventure trip. All our guides carry throw bags and wear PFDs which are designed for swift water rescue in order to carry two persons should the need arise. If we detect that a participant cannot safely accomplish the test rapid then we will request the participant not to continue the journey and refund in full to him/her.

What to Wear & Bring
1. A POSITIVE, FRIENDLY ATTITUDE & GOOD SENSE OF HUMOR!!
2. Two sets of clothing - One 'Wet' set for the river rafting - long or short
sleeved T-shirt; tights; long pant; short pant and anything
comfortable. Another 'Dry' set for return. Jeans are not welcome!
3. River sandals or sport shoes with lace.
4. A pair of sock is recommended if using sport shoes
5. Personal medication and craving
6. Straps for spectacles or goggles for contact lenses
7. Towel or Sarong
8. Sun Screen Lotion and Basic Toiletries

ITINENARY for Sungai Kiulu

8:30am Depart from your hotel in the Kota Kinabalu City and proceed to Kiulu River, located at Tamparuli area. Journey take 1 ½ -2 hours drive.

10:00am Arrive at starting point. Safety Briefing will be given by our professional river guide and signing of Liability Release form.

10:30am Rafting commences. Excursions takes about 2 hours to the ending point.

12:30pm Arrive ending point, freshen-up and ready for BBQ Lunch

1:45pm Depart for hotel - End Of Services
