Padas
River is situated in the interior of southwestern
part of Kota Kinabalu that is only accessible by
train. Basically, this trip will give you two experiences
advantages - 1) Excursion of Class III-IV river,
2) Get chance for the train ride from Tenom to Pangi.
The adrenaline rush excursion covers a distance
of 9km of this rather muddy 200 km river that holds
7 exciting and tough rapids! The 30km white water
rafting, making it the longest rafting journey in
Borneo
These rapid carries amusing names such as Merry-Go-Round
Rapid, Break Point Rapid, Scooby Doo Rapid, Cobra
Rapid, Curve Rapid, Lambada Rapid and Head Hunter
Rapid. Each rapid will give you the feel of the
motion as what the name means.
The journey will first take 1 hour overland through
the countryside to Beaufort town. From thereupon,
adventure begins with 1 hour train rides tracks
along the Padas River that gives glimpses of the
thrills and excitement to come. Upon arriving at
the starting point, participant will be given safety
briefing before going down the river.
The ultimate challenge will speak for itself as
one shoots through and experiences the nerve tingling
excitement which crescendos rapid after rapid while
getting a closer look at the Borneo's amazing flora
and fauna.
After rafting, enjoy a sumptuous
barbecue lunch by the river. Wind down with a sunset
view of the return journey to Kota Kinabalu, along
with presentation of certification of achievement.

briefing will be conducted on land before the
participants enter the water and then further
instruction is conducted in the water before we
set of for the adventure trip. All our guides
carry throw bags and wear PFDs which are designed
for swift water rescue in order to carry two persons
should the need arise. If we detect that a participant
cannot safely accomplish the test rapid then we
will request the participant not to continue the
journey and refund in full to him/her.
What to Wear & Bring

A POSITIVE, FRIENDLY ATTITUDE & GOOD SENSE
OF HUMOR!!
2. Short and T-shirt (Not
White Colour). Two sets of clothing - One
'Wet' set for the
river rafting and anything
comfortable. Another 'Dry' set for return. Jeans
are not
welcome!
3. River sandals or sport shoes with lace.
4. A pair of sock is recommended if using sport
shoes
5. Personal medication and craving
6. Straps for spectacles or goggles for contact
lenses
7. Towel or Sarong

ITINENARY for

Pick
up from hotel and transfer by coach to
Tenom. Tenom is a town located in interior
division of Sabah, east Malaysia on the
Island of Borneo. The town was formally
called Fort Birch in the colonial period.

Arrive
at Tenom and proceed to a village near
Pangie, get change and get ready for the
train ride up to Pangi. The thrilling
yet scenic ride will take around 1 hour.
Your luggage will be storing
at our van and will be transferred to
Beufort Town. |

Upon
reaching starting point, light refreshment
will be served.
Equipment will be provided to the guests;
after gearing up, safety briefing will
be given by River Guide. |

The
30km white water rafting, making it the
longest rafting journey in Borneo begins.
After the 9th kilometers of rafting which
covers seven classes 3-4 rapids, a quick
stop for a sumptuous lunch at Rayoh Station
before continuing the rafting journey
down the majestic rainforest of Borneo.
Ending point will be at Halogilat then
boatride to Beaufort town. |
