Wind-X X-Koi Board
	The X-KOi The word koi is not Japanese, but rather Chinese. Japanese call the fish Nishikigo (coloured koi). The fish are regarded as symbols of strength, good luck and prosperity in Asian Cultures. Due to the large numbers of colour variations, koi are sometimes thought to be different species, yet all are Cyprinus carpio, a member of the carp family. The X-Koi was an idea to compliment the existing WiND-X Kites and also to reward our clients with the best available technology in kiteboarding. To achieve this, we have partnered one of the best board manufacturers and market leaders in kiteboard technology. By doing so, WIND-X's R&D team will be able to spend more time on developing kites. There is no point in being a "Jack of all trades but master of none...". We also don't see a point of reinventing the wheel. The core material on the X-Koi is wood with a durable PBT top and base sheets, hand shaped ABS rails and stylish sublimated graphics. Apart from being better for the environment, the end result is the boards ride smoother, have better pop and are the strongest boards ever built. Unidirectional Carbon reinforced laminates provide the optimal balance between strength, weight, flex and twist control. Rail shapes are hand finished with a thicker more tucked rail in the mid section of the board to help soften the ride through chop. Rails at the tips feature a thinner, harder edge to provide tracking stability and a solid edge hold through carves. X-Koi 142 x 42cm X-Koi 148 x 46cm (designed for super light wind performance which match the Monsoonz Ultra Flat Light Wind Kite. This board has a flat bottom and a very straight rocker line. It's sole purpose is to get going in the light winds.) X-Koi 152 x 44cm The boards are designed by leading Malaysian designer, Alvin Aadam Seah.
